As an Sr. HR Data Administrator, here is what you’ll be doing at the core, day to day.
The Sr. HR Data Administrator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department. Responsible for assisting the HRBP and HR team to achieve its objectives. The position collects and processes human resource data to support assigned business units. The position will assist with the collection, compilation, and analyzing of HR data, metrics, and statistics.
- Assist with pre-employment testing as well as prepare and set up for new employee orientation.
- Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Maintain employee personnel files (hard copy) including staffing, training, performance evaluations, and status change forms and other personnel records.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Prepare or maintain electronic employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
- Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, time entry for new hires, absences, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminations.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as in-house and external training activities, benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- Gather documents/records from other departments or managers.
- Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.
- Search employee files to obtain information for authorized persons and organizations, such as verification of employment.
- Provide assistance to employees regarding HR-related questions.
- Support the HR Business partners by drafting letters related to HR activities including offer letters and other HR documents.
- Maintain daily/weekly contact with MSSA Payroll regarding payroll corrections, time off reports, and any other items that need to be addressed. Maintain records of time-off requests and changes to be sent to Payroll.
- Run reports pertaining to personnel activities.
- Maintain data integrity of organizational structures, Payroll, and Benefits in HR systems.
- Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within department and all employees.
- All other duties as assigned.
Here’s what is required to succeed as an Sr. HR Data Administrator.
- High School Diploma/GED plus.
- 1-years related HR experience or equivalent education.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Excel, Outlook &
PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently as well as within and between work groups.
- Ability to read and write English.
- 1-year HRIS/HCM Experience (Preferred)
- HR certificate or associate degree (Preferred)
