Assistant Store Manager – Customer Engagement

About the Role:

• Deliver sales to plan and customer experience metrics to target

• Monitor sales performance and analyze available data to identify opportunities for improvement

• Lead by example, providing exceptional service and driving sales

• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the Dyson experience, leveraging available data to measure performance and affect change

• Observe customer interactions to ensure they are aligned with company expectations

• Lead instore Dyson Education and Training initiatives.   Manage staff interaction and execution of Dyson Learning platforms

• Manage Customer Metrics and satisfaction goal achievement

• Drive in-store engagement by creating and scheduling Expert Workshops and Best in Class events

• Manage staff Dyson Learning and Education platforms.  Provide Training and Education for Core products, NPD and selling skills

• Create a culture of consistent feedback through in-the-moment coaching, performance conversations, and follow up

• Support Expert and Stylist on-boarding, launches, and on-going learning by establishing strategy for execution of training materials

• Invest in team development by identifying and addressing opportunities for growth

• Support daily operations and customer experience through scheduling and payroll controls

• Ensuring that all Experts adhere to corporate processes and safety standards

• Carrying keys and alarm codes; opening and closing the store, disarming and arming alarm system

• Managing bank deposits, balance point of sale drawers and safe

• Manage day to day store operations and standards

About You:

• Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends, some weekdays, holidays and as business dictates

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer-facing, retail setting required

• 2+ years of retail management experience required

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred

• Experience in leading sales and operations in a retail store required

• P & L strongly preferred

• Experience working with or in a premium or luxury brand strongly preferred

• Ability to understand the Dyson brand and uphold its integrity

• Ability to motivate, inspire, drive results, and lead a growing team in an ever-changing business environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all audiences and levels of leadership

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi task

• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 30lbs

• Bi-lingual language proficiency is a plus

• Customer-Centric: Passionate about delivering exception customer experiences

• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in communication and reporting

• Adaptable: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Proactive: Takes initiative to identify and address issues before they escalate

• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 35 lbs

• Ability to stand on your feet for up to eight hours at a time
