Job Description
Team:
The IntegrationHub foundation team plays a pivotal role in ensuring robust data security and endpoint authentication across a diverse array of ServiceNow applications and Integration products. This dedicated team has crafted a range of critical components, including the outbound HTTP(s) communication layer, REST and SOAP frameworks, authorization framework, Virtual Agent message integrity system, runtime code verification framework, build and deploy reverse proxies, and more.
As we continue to push the boundaries of security, we are actively seeking passionate engineers who possess the ability to rapidly acquire new knowledge and contribute to the development of cutting-edge security protocols that will define the next generation of our technology stack. What you get to do in this role:
- Design, develop, and maintain HTTPS communication layer, load balancers (reverse proxies), and authorization frameworks.
- Design and develop various API architecture styles and protocol frameworks to empower developers in creating web APIs.
- Design and develop new Run time code verification and Data security features.
- Building high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
- Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality products to our users.
- Implement software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs.
- Deploy and manage reusable services.
To be successful in this role you have:

- Experience with CI/CD pipeline
- Experience in Cloud platform/PaaS
- Experience with agile development tools and practices
Nice to have:
- Kubernetes knowledge
Qualifications
- 4+ years of software development experience with Java or similar OO language
- Advanced knowledge with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
- Experience working with relational databases.

For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $133,300 - $226,700, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan
