This position requires an experienced student with a basic understanding of Data Driven Quality Assurance preferably in the Manufacturing environment and a passion for working on EV’s. We are currently seeking a Data Analyst Intern for Supplier Quality in Supply Chain. Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, IT, enterprise, data engineering, corporate quality, and program management teams to lead supplier quality data analytics system development and enhancement in a dynamic environment.
- Work with cross-functional teams to socialize new data analytics business processes within the supplier quality organization.
- Build ETL and supplier quality KPI dashboard from scratch and ensure that visualization provides effective data storytelling that will enable informed executive-level decisions and initiate changes.
- Take directions from Senior Data Analyst and Department Manager, work with data analytics team to lead efforts to experimentation & prediction projects to turn data from useful to extremely effective information & insights for predictive analytics.
- Perform daily data compliance audits, daily follow-up with SQE & stakeholders for necessary updates and provide hands-on training and coaching on KPI dashboards.
- Be willing and can travel to Lucid Motors manufacturing & support sites globally on short notice for an extended period.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or related areas.
- Prior data analytics work experience.
- Ability to understand the context, choose effective visualization methods and attention to details for effective data storytelling.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge Tableau is a plus.
- Programing skill using SQL, R and Python is a plus.
- Understanding of quality principles, product development processes, and data analysis.
- Automotive OEM, Tier1/2 or parallel industry experience preferred.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to show teamwork to be part of the solution.
- Exceptional technical writing, timely communication, and interpersonal skills.
Programming Information:
- Timing: May- August, or June-September pending class schedules.
- Duration of Internship: Our internship program is 12 weeks; the end date is flexible based on individual needs.
- Work Location & Environment: This position will be in Newark, CA, and is fully in person. The working environment will be a mix of lab & office work.
- Compensation: Student compensation is based on location and current degree level, non-negotiable.
- Visa Sponsorship: Lucid may but is not obligated to sponsor foreign national employees requiring company sponsorship for U.S employment authorization
- Relocation: One round trip flight to the assigned work location from/to permanent residence.
- Housing/Transportation: You must provide your own living arrangements and transportation in the local area.
- Background Check: All offers of employment are contingent on clearing a background check.
- Drug Screening: All offers of employment are contingent on passing a drug screen.
- Medical benefits: Dental and vision on day 1 for all interns working 32+ hours a week; medical for interns in California working 32+ hours a week.
