Job Description

This individual will lead an AMS-based People Partner team with global partnership and impact. This role and function are critical to the transformation and scale of delivering Global People services to leaders and employees around the globe: 

· Participate in the creation and definition of the long-term strategy of the global People Partner teams, ensuring key partnerships with Strategic Business Partners  

· Understands the overall business direction and impact of people decisions to influence the right business choices to fulfil business objectives  

· Partner with Strategic Business Partner leads, the People Operations team, Global Product Leads, and COEs to ensure business needs are represented and that fit for purpose HR solutions are developed and deployed for key business needs  

· Drive projects as determined in the annual HR operational plan and coordinate across different teams to deliver business and HR initiatives such as organization reviews; performance management process; compensation planning cycle; talent review and succession planning processes; and workforce reductions, when applicable  

· Be the ultimate voice of the AMS regions to the Global People community  

· Drive a globally consistent method of delivery, communication and sharing of best practices across the AMS People Partner team to ensure employees receive a consistent experience  

· Identify and drive greater process improvements with current Global People processes in place, i.e. extensions of building out living documentation related to Global People philosophies for sustainability/scale purposes  

· Uses and analyses data and trends to inform and to measure success: learn, iterate, and improve; analyse trends and develop proactive actions  

· Manages and assembles a diverse and inclusive People Partner team that executes on strategic and operational goals  

· Supports ongoing growth and development of the team by encouraging and enabling all to build skills and develop their careers 

Qualifications

· Experience building and leading growing People Partners or HR generalists' teams  

· Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills   

· Ability to form relationships with the business as a known trusted advisor  

· Ability to manage own time and workload, juggling conflicting priorities   

· Knowledge of HR programs and processes (e.g., performance management, workforce planning, talent management and employment laws)   

· Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment   

· Possess confidence in handling ambiguous and fluid situations   

· Good understanding of cultural and geographical differences and practices
