$500.00 Retention Bonus

Luther Park Community is seeking a very reliable, experienced in healthcare dietary cooking, customer focused COOK, to provide a positive dining experience to our residents in our Assisted Living facility. Prefer previous dietary (Cook) experience in a healthcare environment.  Position will have 12 hour shifts include every other weekend and some holidays.

Overview of Responsibilities:

Prepare food items for the current meal. 

Place hot food items on cart to go upstairs to steam table. 

Place items on steam table and take and record temps. 

Serve lunch to Small Dining Room, Room Trays then Large Dining Room. 

After lunch, remove pans from Steam Table, wash steam table, bring pans down to be washed. 

Start prep for next meal.

Check menu for next day to see what needs to be pulled from freezer.

Take food temps and record 

Do daily cleaning by following posted cleaning schedule.

Sweep and mop work area before going home, lock all doors and place keys in locker.

Requirements

Must have High school diploma or G.E.D.

At least 1 year experience cooking in a facility or commercial setting

Must be able to fluently speak, read, write and follow written and oral directions in English

Dietary Workers must have an understanding of mechanical devices and basic sanitation procedures.
