The cybersecurity expert is responsible for guiding and implementing our cybersecurity process in our products. The department is responsible for products which ensure correct operation of radiotherapy machines in the hospitals. We work in cross-site teams to develop and deliver these products.

Profile that would suit this role:

• Cybersecurity Software Engineer with skills in C#/Python

• Software Engineer with skills in C#/Python and with enthusiasm about Cybersecurity

Duties & Responsibilities

• Planning, designing, and implementing security measures for the protection of machine quality software products

• Executing and maintaining cybersecurity processes on radiotherapy quality assurance products in the product lifecycle

• Managing pre-market cybersecurity activities (e.g. threat modeling, cybersecurity risk assessment)

• Managing post-market cybersecurity activities (e.g. STIG compliance checking, vulnerability scanning, cybersecurity risk modeling)

• Defining and implementing test procedures for security measures

• Taking part in developing ways of working and best practices

Needed Skills and Experience

ESSENTIAL (minimum requirements)

• At least 3 years of work experience in related field and position

• Solid capabilities acquired through hands-on professional work experience in cybersecurity engineering in application software domain

• Experience and skills in software systems in Windows and Linux environment

• Thorough understanding of secure software architecture and design

• Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking

• Fluency in written and verbal communication in English

• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• Awareness of cybersecurity trends

DESIRABLE (not essential but highly advantageous)

• Software development experience in Windows environment

• Professional work experience with firewalls, endpoint security management

• Experience with secure CI/CD (third party vulnerability testing, static code analysis)

• Practical knowledge of penetration testing tools and techniques

• Professional work experience in healthcare product development
