The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for providing support to the Americas Service
Operations unit. The main responsibility for Business Intelligence Analyst is to deliver data-driven reporting &
communicating insights that inform business decisions. The Business Intelligence Analyst is also responsible for conducting developmental analysis and pursuing initiatives to impact and influence the overall strategy for Business Analytics group and outside management groups.
PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the development and administration of KPI reporting for Service Operations.
Analyzes, interprets information, and makes recommendations based on data insights. Presents data
in a graphical format to support leadership groups and committees strategic planning and decision-
making.
Identify best methods and processes for performance improvement including developing project plans,
facilitating group process, and training related to data collection/reporting.
Responsible for creation of reports that summarize performance by specific Service department,
including collaborative/consulting efforts for various SMA groups.
Standardizes and streamlines new or existing reporting and/or data pipelines & live data efforts.
Works with technical teams to develop and implement solutions based on business needs and drive
processes to completion.
Acts as a process owner or expert for department when necessary – can provide direction for outside
groups acting in the best interests of analytics group or influencing collaborators to support business
projects.
Delivers accurate and timely reporting following best practices of data collection, cleaning, and
presentation.
Track and provide deviations from plan as necessary to leadership team.
Other duties as may be required or assigned.
REQUIRED TRAINING (TYPE / DURATION / FIELD / ADDITIONAL TRAINING)
A four-year Degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
REQUIRED RELEVANT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (TYPE / DURATION)
At least 7 years of experience in same or similar role is required.
OTHER SPECIALIZED SKILLS
Ability to recognize complex problems vs. objectives and apply creativity to analyze situations, develop solutions and procedures. Ability to work independently or with limited information. Analyze and solve problems effectively. Experience with business intelligence tools Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, is required. German and/or Spanish language skills are a plus. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) are required. Proficiency in CRM/SAP and the ability to become a subject matter expert in new system solutions. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are required. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are required.
Additional Information:
- Compensation: $82,000 - $108,000 Annually
