Job Description:
The Director Project Management Office is responsible for developing and evolving the processes through which regulatory project all product prioritization and development is completed. He or she will improve the productivity of the department through effective delegation and serve as subject matter expert on multiple and complex regulatory and business activities. This director will demonstrate perspective and critical thinking that is cross functional, extending beyond the immediate area of responsibility. They will communicate the status of all business unit projects to senior staff, including well developed observations, solutions and recommendations based on strong critical thinking skills.
This director challenges the status quo by evaluating situations from multiple facets. They will manage staff training, development, and performance in their area of responsibility. He or she will develop relationships, expanding leadership influence to accomplish results through others. This individual will create a culture of effective risk management, accountability, and demonstration of risk awareness across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and reviews plans, analyzing workflow, establishes priorities and resolves blockers.
- Meets with department business heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
- Refine processes used to take projects from concept through implementation. using the SAFE framework.
- Engages in continuous improvement with team to realize increased value to the organization.
- Lead program and project management teams responsible for supporting key regulatory priorities (including reporting on task management, monitoring, quality assurance, task closure and escalation of non-adherence)
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering.
- In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, 8+ years of experience in Project Management, 4+ years of experience in Payments Industry.
Preferred Qualifications
If we had our say, we’d also look for:
- Certification: SAFe (Scale Agile Framework): SPC4, Leading Safe.
- 8+ years Project Management, and or Lean or Safe experience.
- 4+ years Financial Services experience.

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $150,500.00 to $228,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.Benefits:
