The Job:
As a Quality Engineer, you’ll be part of our Aerospace team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to:
• Maintaining the AS9100 Quality Management System.
• Supporting of customer, AS9100, and NADCAP audits
• Conducting internal audits and identifying areas for improvement.
• Understanding customer demands and expectations of products and services
• Develops training documentation for specific processes in compliance with customer and quality requirements.
• Participating in design reviews, risk management, continuous improvement, approval of routers for new products, contract review, and PPAP activities.
• Creating and enforcing quality standards, procedures, and policies.
• Working closely with all departments/functions to develop procedures/work instructions for new processes, identify improvement and training needs, and develop performance goals.
• Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
• Manage Root Cause & Corrective Action process for external and internal customer complaints.
• Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.
• Interface and assist with supply chain development and initiatives; evaluate supplier performance; maintain suppliers’ qualifications up to date.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering in mechanical, industrial, Material Science or manufacturing engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in the quality field, aerospace industry preferred
• ASQ CQE certified (preferred)
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing basics and AS9100 quality system requirements
• Working Knowledge of problem-solving tools
• Experience in blueprint reading
• PPAP and AS9102 experience
• Strong organization and planning skills
