The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing, and cultivating productive relationships with both new and existing accounts, while providing technical advice. This is a Monday-Friday position with some weekends. There is generous benefits package, 401k and paid time off, offered from first day of hire.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly from customers relating to a product, or the overall turbocharging system. Provide quotations, write sales orders, etc as needed to secure the sale.
  • Proactively make outbound sales calls to current and prospective customers.
  • Conduct market research to prospect for growth opportunities within the performance aftermarket with our product range.
  • Train customers on current product offerings within our turbocharger range
  • Evaluate customer’s needs; spec/recommend products needed for the turbocharger system to achieve their goals.
  • Use/create reports within SAP to support day-to-day sales activities
  • Converting customer technical issues and/or product inquiries into sales opportunities for new part sales or work through the Service Department.
  • Assist in reviewing marketing material, and website content as requested
  • Collaborate with Marketing Team on blogs and vlogs to educate our customer base about our products, or the turbocharging system in general.
  • Assist in the creation of sales/marketing documentation regarding our product line.
  • Provide feedback to the Management Team as well as the Director of Engineering regarding current products as well as new product opportunities for the market.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and vendors. Being responsive to customer’s needs and company expectations.
  • Support other Teams within the organization, such as Service, Customer Service, and Tech Support as needed.
  • Work on various projects as directed by Management. Meet company deadlines associated with these projects.  
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, technical discussions, conferences, trade shows, racing events, and customer site visits inside and outside of regular business hours as required.
  • Knowledge of products offered and warranty programs for all product sold.
  • Required to travel up to 25% of the time.

Requirements:   

Education and/or Experience- Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related Inside Sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Aftermarket automotive, automotive or racing industry experience preferred.

Computer Skills - Basic knowledge of the internet, Microsoft Word, Excel and PC literate.
