Head Enterprise Architect - Platforms

Position Summary:  

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Enterprise Architect - Platforms to join our team. This role will be responsible for the strategic design, development, and implementation of Common platforms across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise architecture, excellent leadership abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of technical platform ecosystems that accelerate the delivery of customer value. 

Focus: 

• Maintain enterprise perspective on common enterprise platforms that are leveraged firm-wide to unlock scalability and improved productivity. 

• Drive for common standards and usage of platforms across the firm while pushing to eliminate legacy redundancy. 

• Leverage the Voice of Developer and Software Development Lifecyle as a guide, to define the future state of technical platforms, which absorbs heaving liftings of solving recurring technical problems into the platform layer, and free up developers to focus on business features. 

• Focus on the outcomes delivering business value faster, in a reliable and secure way. 

• Focus the future state architecture at the conceptual and logical level, and partner closely with platform engineering, application development and infrastructure teams to translate into physical design. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Strategic Planning and Development: 

• Develop and maintain the technology platform architecture strategy and roadmap. 

• Ensure alignment of platform architecture with the organization’s business objectives and IT strategy. 

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance platform capabilities and performance. 

Architecture Design and Implementation: 

• Lead the design and deployment of robust, scalable, and secure technology platforms. 

• Ensure platforms adhere to enterprise architecture standards and best practices. 

• Oversee the integration of various platforms within the enterprise technology landscape. 

Leadership and Collaboration: 

• Lead and mentor a team of architects and engineers, promoting a collaborative and innovative culture. 

• Collaborate with IT leaders, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of platform projects. 

• Provide expert guidance on technology platform architecture to various teams within the organization.
