Summary of Job Duties:

The Administrative Program Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, students, faculty, & staff, and provide administrative support for the department. This includes answering the department’s phone and email account, purchasing office supplies, textbooks, regalia, etc., assisting faculty and staff with special projects, reconciling procurement and travel cards, conducting expense reports & reimbursements, submitting scholarships, maintaining physical spaces by making recommendations for improvement and coordinating any needed repairs to provide resolution in a timely manner, and other similar duties as assigned.

The Administrative Program Coordinator provides administrative support for the Department of Industrial Engineering primarily in the Undergraduate Studies program. Assisting the department’s academic advisors, this employee develops procedures to support degree audits, student advising, and management of student records. In addition, the Program Coordinator performs program research and data collection to compile reports for departmental, campus and external agencies including accreditation reviews.
