Here in Prague, we have teams specializing in frontend development (including mobile, TV, and web), backend development (Java), DevOps &amp; Platform Engineering, AWS, and data science.</span></span></p><p><span><span> </span></span><span> </span></p><p><b><span>What is the plot? </span></b><span> </span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span><span>In the App Hosting team in Prague, you will be part of a larger Developer Platform Engineering </span><span>d</span><span>epartment that spans Prague, Lisbon, and London</span><span>. We develop and provide </span><span>a </span><span>platform </span><span>that empowe</span><span>rs</span><span> development and SRE teams to deploy their ap</span><span>plications safely and run them reliably</span><span>, </span><span>securely</span><span> and efficiently</span><span> </span><span>at</span><span> scale</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span><span>The team</span><span> in Prague</span><span> </span><span>have become experts in the Kubernetes networking, observability, and traffic management space, working with technologies like Cilium, Hubble, </span><span>Contour, </span><span>E</span><span>nvoy</span><span> </span><span>and Ist</span><span>io. We are growing the team in Prague to enable us t</span><span>o </span><span>provide</span><span> even more </span><span>features </span><span>to the Developer Platform.</span></span><span> </span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span><span>The App Hosting team </span><span>provides</span><span> the </span><span>cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes components that are </span><span>require</span><span>d</span><span> for our </span><span>compu</span><span>te</span><span> platform</span><span>, with networking and traffic </span><span>manag</span><span>e</span><span>ment</span><span>, security, service discovery, and observability</span><span>.</span><span> Development teams have a common path to production that allows them to build once, test</span><span>, and deploy </span><span>everywhere to build the global streaming platform.</span></span><span> </span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span><span>Running a platform at scale requires us to develop software that</span><span> will keep our </span></span><span>infrastructure running effectively without manual intervention</span><span>.
