Join Our Team as a Cashier at the Moscow Food Co-op!
Are you passionate about great food, community, and exceptional customer service? The Moscow Food Co-op is looking for friendly and reliable Cashiers to be the welcoming face of our store. As a cashier, you’ll operate the register, assist customers with purchases, and help create a positive shopping experience that reflects the Co-op’s values.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide outstanding customer service to our shoppers
- Accurately handle cash and transactions
- Represent the Co-op with professionalism and positivity
- Maintain a steady, helpful presence in a fast-paced environment
- Stay informed about Co-op products and services
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Accuracy in handling money and maintaining records
- Ability to work well with a team
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow procedures
- Self-responsible with reliable attendance
- Must be 19 years or older
Position Details:
- Part-time: 12–29 hours/week
- Schedule: Varies; weekend availability required; Must be available for all university breaks and holidays. Hiring preference given to those that are able to commit to working through the 25/26 school year.
