This position can be hired remote anywhere within the continental U.S.
The Talent Development Partner will play an integral part at Optiv to align the talent development strategy with the business strategy. This incumbent works to analyze skills gaps and create training programs that upskill our current and future talent requirements. This person will be responsible for leading efforts for continuous learning and professional development of our people. The role is responsible for and lead the effort of the Talent Development processes (i.e., Career Pathways, Talent Review, Succession Planning, Employee Engagement). The incumbent will also oversee the assessment of development needs, design documentation, identify objectives, develop supportive materials, deliver solutions, and evaluate outcomes that facilitate professional development, leadership, and continuous learning for Optiv employees. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in adult learning theory, competency modeling and the full life cycle of talent management.

How You'll Make an Impact:
- Lead and execute the effort in Talent Development processes (i.e., Career Pathways, Talent Review, Succession Planning, Employee Engagement) to manage timeline and approach, thought leadership and success measures.
- Contribute to the creation of learning and performance support tools and resources that build employees’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes so the organization can succeed and grow.
- Define areas for competency and capability development, cultural alignment, and organizational development that will enhance the Optiv employee experience and business results.
- Lead and execute on the Career Pathway initiative.
- Conduct focus group assessments with key stakeholders to define role clarity, career pathways and promotions within a career model/family.
- Identify levels within a business unit, standardize titles and career progression within a career model and list vital skills and behaviors for success in each role.
- Author and implement success profiles that outline capabilities (skills), competencies (behaviors), and organizational development for progression throughout the organization.
- Work cross-functionally to implement and integrate into overall talent development strategy.
- Develop resources and tools to support employee performance and career development.
- Synthesize information from needs assessments to make recommendations and develop innovative solutions that align with business vision for future state and critical skills work results.
- Author instructional strategies pertaining to performance management and career development that is informed by client needs and assists with the creation of training content.
- Enable Human Resource Business Partners to enact and implement people programs tied to organizational capabilities, productivity, growth and development.
- Captures organizational knowledge for inclusion in development solutions.
- Apply expertise in organizational change and large-scale program management to ensure initiatives are aligned with business strategy, have adequate executive sponsorship to be successful, consider organizational capacity and readiness, and are otherwise set up for measurable success.
- Support Learning and Development and Human Resources strategies by actively serving on additional project teams and providing project management support.
- Facilitates instructor-led workshops to people managers and employees on performance conversations and best practices.
- Develop the Talent Development calendar in coordination with the HR Business Partners and Total Rewards teams.

What We're Looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Adult Learning, Organizational Development, Educational Technology, Business, Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology or related discipline. Master’s Degree preferred.
- 7 or more years of related experience in Talent Development, Learning and Development and/or Adult Learning.
- Strong program and performance consulting skills, including conducting needs assessment, diagnosing, project planning/implementing and measuring results. Strong project & program management skills - clear, simple, elegant, and effective.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with an acute attention to detail.
- Advanced level ability to create templates, surveys, presentations and technical documentation using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
- Experience with Learning/Talent Management Systems required. Experience with Cornerstone preferred.
- Experience in application of Change Management principles to execute large scale changes within an organization. Change Management certification preferred.
