ERP & MES Process Specialist

About your job

In this position, you're responsible for driving and supporting global production initiatives. You work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimization of ERP and MES systems across our sites globally.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Maintain the global ERP & MES template for manufacturing, ensure compliance with policies, validate change requests for global applicability, and collaborate with production stakeholders, IT and solution architects.
• Drive global process excellence, analyze user needs, configure ERP modules, and provide ongoing support, as well as design solutions for process gaps and manage testing and upgrades.
• Act as an expert on data in your area – defining rules, driving quality improvements, collaborating with data protection and security teams, and supporting local data owners.
• Be part of key strategic projects in production. Lead pre-studies, data extraction and migration, validation, correction, and testing of business-critical processes such as item registration, I2Q, and MO planning mashups.

The location for this position is flexible, but close to one of our sites—such as Fagersta (Sweden), Guanzate (Italy), Pune (India), Bourges & Bouxwiller (France), Lottum (Netherlands), Ciechanow (Poland) or Reynoldsville (US). The role includes occasional travel (less than 25% of the time).

Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a background in production and a few years' experience as a local or global expert in a relevant field, preferably in ERP or MES systems. You’re familiar with agile methodologies and planning tools such as Jira, and you have a keen interest in data and IT from a business perspective. You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, or a related field. Acting in a global environment calls for proficiency in English, verbally and in writing.

You’re an excellent communicator with strong problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills. You collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and adapt quickly to new environments and business areas. Bringing leadership experience from guiding smaller teams, you’re confident in taking initiative and making decisions. Your open mindset and ability to embrace change make you a valuable asset in a fast-paced global setting.
