We seek Senior Civil Engineer (Lead Instructor) | Dam Operator Safety Training: Fundamentals, Inspection, Monitoring & Field Practicum [DOI0010009] candidates with relevant Government And Public Services Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Government And Public Services Sector Clients such as DOI. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Senior Civil Engineer (Lead Instructor) | Dam Operator Safety Training: Fundamentals, Inspection, Monitoring & Field Practicum [DOI0010009]

• Provides technical expertise on dam operations, spillways, and outlet works. Develops and reviews training materials on dam fundamentals, inspection techniques, and maintenance best practices. Ensures technical accuracy and compliance with DOI Safety of Dams standards.  Transforms Dam O&M principles into practical training modules that operators can apply the next day. Author classroom modules on Dam funDamentals, spillways/outlets, O&M best practices; support field practicum checklists; review site-specific appendices; mentor junior staff; contribute to instrumentation overviews; technical QA/QC of slides and workbooks.

Qualifications

• BSCE required; MS preferred; PE license required (any state, ability to obtain reciprocity).
