Summary:
This 10 hour per week part-time position that supports the Skills Institutes in the School of International Service. These weekend courses are aimed at providing graduate students in international affairs with in-demand skills. Essential Functions:
1.) Faculty Support
The incumbent supports Skills Institute faculty during, and prior to, instruction of the course.
2.) Student Support
The incumbent supports students in Skills Institutes by trouble-shooting technological issues and other access challenges.
3.) Program Assessment
Complementing the AU-wide SETs, the incumbent surveys students and analyzes the data that these surveys produce.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Part-Time.
10 hours per week.
Salary Range:
$18.40 - $19.50 per hour.
Required Education and Experience:
Previous experience in working with events, professional communications, and/or research and evaluation.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in international affairs or education.
Experience working in higher education.
Demonstrated interest in experiential education.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
This position requires regular weekend (Saturday and Sunday) work.
