As part of our ongoing commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced ESG Reporting Manager to join our expanding team and help us become net zero by 2040.

 

About the Role

As the Global ESG Lead at .Monks, your role revolves around collaborating closely with the global head of ESG to champion and actualise ESG initiatives across the organisation, centring on two pivotal pillars: Our responsibility to the world and People Fulfilment. You'll be tasked with overseeing the gathering of non-financial data for reporting purposes, crafting and executing policies, conducting training sessions, and nurturing a thriving ESG culture within the company. Your collaboration with the global ESG head will involve constant innovation and elevation of the value of ESG for both .Monks and its clientele, driving forward solution-driven strategies. Additionally, you'll play a vital role in inspiring and mobilising stakeholders to fully embrace the mission of transforming .Monks into the most sustainable entity it can be.

 

Responsibilities: 

• Project Management: Establish an annual ESG reporting structure, engage stakeholders, and ensure data integrity, audits, and controls are in place.
• Data-Driven: Address non-financial reporting requests and navigate compliance with standards such as CSRD, CDP, EcoVadis, and B Corp.
• Social: Provide ESG-related support for client RFPs and collaborate with the marketing team to integrate ESG into our brand.
• Goal-Oriented: Review targets and KPIs, suggest and oversee the implementation of new policies to achieve sustainable goals.

 

About You

The essentials:

• Experience in sustainability, preferably within media/production and physical workspaces.
• Familiarity with global sustainability initiatives and standards, such as UN Global Compact SDGs, CDP, EcoVadis, B Corporations, ESRS, CSRD, FCA, GHG, GRI, and more.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability  to turn a No into a Yes. 
• Focus on community building and education.
• Self-starter comfortable with autonomy.
• Strong communication skills, positive and an inclusive, open-minded approach.
• Ability to work across international teams and cultures and proficient in Google Docs and Excel.
• Master the art of project management and structure and can stay cool while juggling a ton of data and people. 
• You are familiar with ESG, GHG related reporting tools, software.
