Title: Fluids-Materials Engineering Supervisor - 108132
Onsite/Remote:Remote Position
This position is eligible for remote work at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities
As a Materials Engineering Supervisor, Fluids for Intelligent Solutions Group located in Urbandale, IA, you will supervise and mentor a team of fluids engineers in the formulation, analysis, and testing of fluids. Fluids includes but isn't limited to engine oil, coolant, DEF, Fuels, Hydraulic oil, transmission hydraulic fluid, gear oil, and grease. In addition, you will:
- Collaborate with other departments to align engineering efforts with design engineering, manufacturing and aftermarket fluid needs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee the development of innovative solutions for fluids and maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in fluid materials engineering.

What Skills You Need
- 7 or more years of experience in fluids materials engineering or related field.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing projects greater than $1 Million
What Makes You Stand Out
- Expert understanding and experience in 2 or more fluid types.
- Experience testing and evaluating fluids
- Experience with fluid standard committees (SAE International, International Fluids Consortium, AFEV, STLE)
- MBA or Engineering master's degree
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or related field
