Job Description

Allied Universal® is hiring a Armed Cleared Security Officer. At Allied Universal, the Armed Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As an Armed Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.

As an Armed Security Officer – DoD Secret Clearance you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

 

Pay Rate: $26/hr. when fully qualified and Active Secret Security Clearance

Hiring for a Flex/On-Call Schedule with potential to lead to full time position. Upcoming need for a 9-12 month temporary graveyard position beginning in September. Regularly scheduled part-time/on-call shifts until September.

 

September Schedule: Sunday-Thursday from 11pm to 7am.

 

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience
• Must be a United States Citizen in order to obtain the required government clearance
• Must be able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs

*A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only

Additional Requirements:

• Must have Current/Former Verifiable Secret Security Clearance
• Must have or be able to successfully pass: Background Check, Physical Fitness Test, MMPI-3, AUS Firearms Academy, FA/AED/CPR Card, and 10-panel urinalysis
• Must have PILB Armed License
