**Location of job: Hybrid- 4 days remote, 1 day onsite (Fridays)**
Responsibilities
This position will entail working on a web-based Java/Oracle application that is used by internal agency staff from several divisions across the enterprise, related to the management of agency contracts. The person selected for this position will be a highly motivated and skilled Product Owner/Business Analyst working closely with a dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to effectively manage and prioritize tasks to ensure that successful on-time delivery is accomplished. This person will work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our users.
The person will perform the duties of a Business Analyst that include collaboration with the delivery teams and application users to gather requirements, perform detailed analysis of requirements to develop requirements and design for required system modifications, complete business requirement documents, user stories, and business area collaboration and/or coordination.
Will also work daily with technical teams to coordinate demos, UAT, code releases, project/product management level planning, and user communication as necessary. Must have experience working in an Agile environment. Some on-call support may be required depending on project phase.
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standard business process mapping, and reengineering. Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
