NEW ALBANY FAMILY SEEKING A FULL-TIME NANNY, M-F!

Overview

NEW ALBANY, OH (LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED) - A warm and active family in New Albany, OH, is seeking a high-energy, experienced, and patient FULL-TIME NANNY to join their household. This is a live-out position with hours Monday through Friday, 7 am - 3 pm. The family values flexibility and is open to either a full-time or part-time arrangement, with full-time hours targeted to begin on December 1, 2024. 

The family has four happy, smart, and curious children: a 4-year-old girl, a 3-year-old boy, a 1-year-old girl, and a 4-month-old boy. The older children have established schedules with school and naps, and the infant is primarily cared for by the mother but will gradually transition to the nanny’s care around six months old. Both parents are highly involved—dad works from home, and mom is a stay-at-home parent—so the nanny will rarely need to manage all four children alone.

The ideal candidate is intelligent, energetic, patient, and adaptable to the needs of a growing family. The position is located in a safe, upscale country club community with nearby parks, making it perfect for outdoor activities. The family hopes to find someone who is easygoing, dependable, and able to roll with the dynamics of a busy household. Candidates with experience managing multiple young children are preferred, and those with a “can-do” attitude and a proactive approach to caregiving will thrive in this role.

The position requires standard vaccinations; MMR, and Tdap, and prefers COVID and Flu. The family would like a candidate who is open to occasional travel (e.g., a week for vacation a few times per year) but is negotiable on the level of travel required. The family also currently employs an au pair who handles nights and weekends, so this position will primarily focus on daytime care.

The position offers a competitive pay rate of $25-35/hour, based on experience, with benefits including PTO, sick days, and paid holidays. The target start date is December 1, 2023.
