This position serves as a GenTax Computer Programming Analyst, providing a full range of Information Technology (IT) applications services for DoIT/IDoR. In this role you will coordinate and conduct difficult and specialized application development for systems and/or sub-systems of average complexity associated with the Revenue Accounting & Transaction Section in the GenTax Integrated Tax System. In addition, you will serve as project coordinator for standard projects including small/medium size hardware/software deployments and installations.

Essential Functions
30% Under general direction, serves as a GenTax Computer Programming Analyst providing a full range of Information Technology (IT) applications services for DoIT/IDoR:
- Coordinates and conducts difficult and specialized application development for systems and/or sub-systems of average complexity associated with the Revenue Accounting & Transaction Section in the GenTax Integrated Tax System.
- Prepares new programming and writes SQL in conjunction with the system support.
- Performs changes to existing programs and SQL code based on Service Request Changes (SR).
- Confers with user area in coding and testing of programs.
- Prepares system documentation, codes programs, reviews code, prepares test data and performs unit test.
- Prepares program documentation, monitors operation of system and documents required enhancements and provides application and user support.
- Develops and recommends new procedures and techniques to improve the effectiveness of application systems.
- Follows DoIT/IDoR adopted system design methodology to ensure the integrity of each system during maintenan
