We’re looking for an individual to jumpstart the service engineering function for our growing commercial fleet. In this role you will enable our Service Operations partners to perform their tasks effectively by providing the right tools, processes, and define standards for instructions and documentation. As a key member of our Technical Operations team, you’ll drive work with partners across Service Operations, Maintenance Planning, Field Engineering, and General Motors.

What you’ll be doing:

• Drive implementation plan for innovative diagnostic tooling to service & repair on a scaled AV fleet and define workflows and training for effective usage.

• Optimize and improve decision trees for newly developed AV service procedures

• Develop guidelines and a concept for integration between on the ground Service Operations and Technician Assistance Centers

• Define process flows for communication of new or updated service information to service operations teams and measure performance improvements

What you must have:

• 7-years+ experience in automotive maintenance & service or relevant adjacent fleet maintenance operations

• BS or MS degree in Electrical, Automotive, Industrial, Robotics, Semiconductors, or similar Engineering field

• Ability to articulate and structure technical issues and solutions in a standardized way with internal engineering teams and external service partners

• Capability to drive multiple workstreams with larger collaborator groups and define concepts that can be replicated for AV Service in multiple markets

Bonus points!

• AV industry experience preferably in maintenance or service operations

• Ownit mentality - to be able to develop new processes and frameworks from 0 to 1

The salary range for this position is $156,400 - 230,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
