Job Overview

As a founding member of our Finance & Accounting Team at Harbinger Motors, you will help shape the financial future of the most innovative EV startup in the medium duty weight class. You will leverage your prior experience to create and implement efficient and effective financial processes, ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, and provide financial expertise and leadership to the team.

What You’ll Do:

• Business partner with multiple groups, including Manufacturing, Logistics, Facilities, and G&A
• Maintain rolling forecasts for these groups and lead the annual budget process for them
• Assist in the monthly close process by reviewing actuals and booking necessary accruals
• Present monthly Actuals vs Budget & Forecast to finance and executive leadership
• Analyze company-wide headcount growth planning
• Provide executive management with a detailed short and medium term cash flows
• Become the center point in our equipment financing forecasting and tracking
• Liase with Product Development Financial Analyst to streamline Manufacturing and Engineering forecasting
• Develop new and scalable processes to help facilitate company growth.
• Assist Director of Finance with critical ad-hoc tasts

Who You Are:

• You have 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting

• You have a strong understanding of financial principles and methodologies

• You have experience with financial modeling and analysis

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with EV or other cleantech companies
• Experience with ERP systems, such as NetSuite or SAP
