This position assists facilitating a patient focused approach to member care providing personal assistance and skills training and other supportive services, to assist patients in improving their behavioral health and wellness. This team assists patients in finding and securing personal, organizational, and community resources.
In this position you will supervise a team including Recovery Coordinators/Case Managers, Peer Support Assistants and Counselors. The top candidate will provide training and direct the workflow for the staff while maintaining overall accountability for direction of day-to-day operations. This leader is responsible for the clinical competency of the staff with focus on quality of outcomes utilizing evidence based best practices. They will promote interdisciplinary patient care planning and patient education. The selected candidate will provide input in hiring team members, participate in performance evaluations, metrics, and corrective action plans.

This position is responsible for the daily performance of a team for an assigned functional area within a facility or other business entity. This position would typically be working in a department providing patient services, support services, or administrative services. Schedules and supervises the work of assigned staff to ensure smooth workflow in the department.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. As a clinical leader, is responsible for clinical competency of staff (Therapist, Recovery Coaches and Peer Support Specialists, etc.) and clinical performance with focus on quality of outcomes utilizing evidence based best practices. Ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population. This position has overall accountability for direction of day-today operations associated with direct patient care activities. Ensures total clinical conformance such as assessments, service plans, medication management, appropriate documentation, review etc.
2. Schedules and supervises the work of assigned staff to ensure smooth workflow in the department. Acts as a knowledge resource to staff in matters of department processes, technical skills, equipment, supplies and/or regulatory requirements.
3. Selects, trains and manages the performance of staff. Schedules staff in accordance with department needs, maintains labor expenses within budget guidelines. Provides daily direction to staff. Sets goals for individuals and for the team. Acts as a mentor and coach and provides development and growth opportunities for staff.
4. Monitors supplies, equipment and labor resources and stays within budget. Assists in developing goals, targets and action plans.
5. Identifies, addresses and communicates opportunities to improve work processes and enable achievement of goals in quality, productivity and customer satisfaction. Maintains statistics and reports on activity in areas of responsibility when required.
6. Coordinates and participates in special projects as assigned.
7. Works under general supervision. Incumbents in this position are accountable for the daily performance of a unit or team. Makes decisions guided by policies and procedures. Interacts primarily with direct reports, supervisor, internal customers, and patients.
