Associate Attorney - Family Law

Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara's Newport Beach office is seeking an Associate Attorney with experience in Family Law Litigation.

An ideal candidate must be motivated, reliable, and able to work independently for a professional firm. This opening is ideal for an attorney ready to take their career to the next level with a highly reputable multi-state firm.

This opportunity will require the candidate to work alongside a partner who is a Certified Family Law Specialist in a team-based environment.

Qualifications include:

• exceptional research and strong legal writing abilities;
• an ability to work collaboratively;
• the ability to meet deadlines in an environment of supported autonomy.

Requirements

Candidates should have experience analyzing, researching, and drafting briefs and other pleadings addressing sophisticated legal issues in complex family law matters. Experience with litigation and litigation preparation, preparing for and attending depositions, briefing and arguing dispositive and discovery motions, interfacing with clients and opposing counsel, and attendance at hearings is preferred. Must be able to work well in a team environment, hold exceptional interpersonal communication skills, and have a strong desire to develop and advance their legal career.
