Pool Food Runner - On Call - Mandalay Bay

THE JOB:  

As Food Runner, you will contribute to luxurious guest experiences with your welcoming smile and superior service.  By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories that they can carry with them well past their stay with us  

THE DAY-TO-DAY:  

• Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner, making them feel welcome 

• Expedite food from the kitchen to the table as dictated by the Chef or kitchen expeditor 

• Describe food upon placement on the table, answering questions pertaining to the dishes 

• Describe menu features as needed 

• Communicate with expeditor to ensure delivery of food to the correct table 

• Perform assigned open and closing side-work 

• Communicate needs of the guest to kitchen and management, inform management of guest reaction and comments and assist management to ensure smooth operation and quality service 

• Check dining area, tables and chairs for cleanliness, maintain cleanliness and organization of station and service area 

• Perform other job-related duties as requested 

The IDEAL CANDIDATE:  

• At least 21 years of age 

• Currently has a TAM and Food Handler’s Card or the ability to obtain one 

• Must be able to lift and carry at least 25lbs 

• Can stand and walk for long periods of time outside and in sand 

• Food running experience is preferrable, especially in a high-volume setting 

• Ability to work a variety of shifts which can include weekends and holidays 

SCHEDULE: 

On Call 

STARTING PAY RATE: 

$18.53 per hour
