Your Role

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory management in a fast-paced distribution environment. Reporting to the Warehouse Lead, this role plays a key part in meeting customer demands through the timely movement of products and the development of a safe, organized, and high-performing warehouse team. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, operational discipline, and a drive for continuous improvement.

 

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and direct warehouse associates to achieve daily shipping, receiving, and inventory accuracy goals.
• Plan and execute logistics in coordination with carriers to ensure on-time shipments and deliveries while optimizing freight costs.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and consistency through process discipline and root cause problem-solving.
• Resolve operational issues quickly to minimize delays and control operating costs.
• Manage labor efficiency, productivity metrics, and overhead to achieve business objectives.
• Enforce GMP, sanitation, and organizational standards across the warehouse environment.
• Drive a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and company safety policies.
• Investigate and address any non-compliance, implementing preventive actions and driving safety performance.
• Collaborate with HR and operations teams to manage labor allocation and administer collective bargaining agreements effectively.
• Communicate performance expectations clearly and frequently across shifts to align teams with operational goals.
• Champion a culture of accountability, high standards, and continuous improvement within the warehouse.

 

Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience, preferably in high-speed manufacturing, FMCG, or food production.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with a focus on engagement and accountability.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, solve problems, and drive results in a deadline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of GMPs, safety regulations, and lean warehouse practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
