C3I Systems Analyst

Overview

Bowhead is seeking C3I Systems Analysts who will work as part of a team tasked supporting the modernization of Marine Corps Command and Control capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Marine Corps, Naval, Joint, Coalition, and Unified doctrine, tactics, techniques, procedures, architectures, and related documentation to ensure C3I systems meet the operational users’ needs.• From the Fleet User perspective, contribute to the development of Use Cases to support new functionality in future capabilities in development to meet future needs.• Support Product Teams as they interface with Fleet, training and evaluation organizations.• Work with Fleet stakeholders to identify and translate system operator needs into both functional and data features.• Work closely with team technical personnel to assess the implementation of new technologies from operator perspective.• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in a technical or business field

• Minimum of 25 years of experience• Analytical skills relating to translating Fleet user needs into functional requirements• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing for required customer support and requirement gathering and validation • Experience in the development of SOPs, and ability to develop Concepts of Employment and exercise plans• Knowledge of military C3 and/or Intelligence systems a plus• Experience as Infantry Operations Chief or as a MAGTF Planner preferred• Experience as MAGTF Staff Planning instructor, or equivalent, preferred• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint• Ability to communicate effectively senior government customers. • To receive and respond to instructions/assignments, must be able to read, write and speak English.

 

Must be able maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

 

Physical Demands:• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
