Park Place Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics is looking for a as needed dedicated and skilled Traveling Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic team. Experience & Key Responsibilities:  

  • Provide chairside orthodontic assistance during procedures including bonding, wire changes, and adjustments 
  • Travel between practice locations as needed to support orthodontic schedules and patient care 
  • Take orthodontic records including photos, impressions, digital scans, and X-rays 
  • Educate patients and parents on orthodontic appliances, oral hygiene, and post-treatment care 
  • Maintain sterilization, operatory setup, and compliance with OSHA and infection control standards
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management

Requirements

  • Previous orthodontic assisting experience preferred 
  • Must be willing to travel between office locations as needed - Hurst & Arlington
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and families 
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 
  • X-ray certification and orthodontic assisting experience preferred based on state requirements
