Your Impact

Are you passionate about contributing to the development of camera products that can truly make a difference? We are currently searching for a (Senior) Imaging Engineer to become a valuable member of our imaging hardware team, focusing on the creation of cutting-edge law enforcement camera systems. We are looking for someone with a strong blend of electronics and software skills, a keen interest in prototyping, and a willingness to engage in rapid trials. Since the team is compact, you will be working with wide range of areas and therefore will also widen your skillset. Your engineering skills will be highly visible in final products. Also, if you have curiosity for designing and implementing test automation hardware and software, and find analyzing and optimizing embedded hardware systems to be a fascinating challenge, then we want to hear from you.

 


What You’ll Do

Location: Tampere, Finland
Reports to: Senior Principal Technical Program Manager
Direct Reports: 0

  • Work closely with hardware design, prototyping and analysis with hands-on can-do attitude
  • Innovate and engineer camera technology and products for law enforcement use cases
  • Collaborate closely with imaging software team as well as with your international colleagues and partners
  • Keep the design quality bar high to make sure customer satisfaction meets company targets
  • Automate test and verification methods

 

What You Bring

  • Suitable degree is B.Eng. or M.Sc. in electronics and/or software
  • Embedded system working experience with electronics or software emphasis: for example fast signal measurement, low level software development & test automation hardware & software scripting skills
  • Good at fast prototyping, failure analysis and working in hardware/software interface
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills
  • Can do attitude
  • Bonus but not required
    • Experience in camera technology such as sensors optics and photography
    • Schematics and layout design experience
    • Mechanics testing experience
    • Experience about other sensing components
