Financial Analyst II

This is a fully remote position for an experienced financial professional.

Candidate must be located in the US and proficient in US accounting and tax laws.

Annual Salary:

$60,000 - $75,000 USD doe

The Role:

Glorious is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst II to join our Finance team. This new position will play a key role in preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis projects such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Assist in financial management reporting to support management reviews
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
• Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity of financial data
• Provide ad-hoc analysis as required

Requirements

• Strong data-driven personality with the ability to prepare a variety of financial statements, reports, analyses and model the economic dynamics of the departments they support
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business with a minimum of 3+ years relevant working experience
• 3+ years relevant experience in positions that require financial analysis and business decision support using data reporting and analytics tools
• 3+ years Corporate financial close and related accounting experience
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite including building complex models; Excel/PowerPoint proficiency required
• Ability to analyze, gather insights, and present the results of key financial metrics to senior level
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with accuracy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team environment
• Must be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative, ownership, dependability, and accountability
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills
• Proven work experience in a quantitatively-heavy data role
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ERP systems required; NetSuite and Workday Adaptive Planning is strongly preferred
• Experience with SQL, R, Python, QlikView, PowerBI, Tableau and data management tools is strongly preferred
• MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus
• Passion for PC gaming preferred
