Our agency is actively recruiting to fill one full-time, permanent Corrections and Custody Officer 2 (CO2) vacancy within the Community Corrections Division. This position works for the Spokane Community Justice Center (CJC) located at 715 E Sprague Ave, Spokane, WA 99202. 

This CO2 position has an in-training plan attached. Depending on your qualifications, you may be appointed at the CO1 level or directly at the CO2 level. As a CO2 (or CO1 In-training), you will
supervise individuals who are performing community restitution (work crew/community service) and will be responsible for safety and security, directing and monitoring work, and the direct supervision of supervised individuals performing general labor tasks in the community. This position will work in a team environment that consists of a Community Corrections Supervisor (CCS), Community Corrections Officers (CCOs), and other COs. Shift hours are Friday-Monday, 0700-1700 with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays off.

Supervise, instruct, and monitor offenders ordered to perform community restitution (work crew/community service) to include safely operating state vehicles and maintaining worker safety.
