Today, worldwide more than 9,700 employees are working on this permanent challenge, at over 90 locations on all continents.</p> <h2>Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten</h2> <p>In your role as Strategic Purchasing your main tasks will be compose - but not limited - to the below fields: </p> <ul> <li>Act as business partner towards all related internal and external stakeholders for own area of responsibility. </li> <li>Manage and develop supplier base, performance, relationships andnegotiations in close cooperation with the respective business lines </li> <li>Ensure sourcing objectives and targets on Quality, Lead Times and Cost aremet in own area of responsibility</li> <li>Create and update agreements with suppliers, maintain material/supplier master data in relevant parts</li> <li>Lead role in contract and purchasing negotiations, secure capacity andforecasting</li> <li>Manage supplier performance and relationships, gather, and analyze spendand supplier data, execute benchmarking, provide data to the relevantfunctions</li> <li>Analyze future supply demand in cooperation with the respective functions and stakeholders </li> <li>Support non-conformity/warranty process management in escalated issues</li> <li>Secure compliance to Supply Management processes/procedures,strategies and agreements</li> <li>Execute/support material/services for cost budgeting and follow-up</li> <li>Execute/support supplier selection/rationalization process</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifikationen</h2> <p>As an ideal candidate: </p> <ul> <li>You own a Bachelor/ Master degree (or equivalent) in relevant areas of expertise e.g., economics, industrial engineering or similar. </li> <li>You are a hands-on person with min. 5 years’ experience in strategic purchasing or other relevant areas.</li> <li>You are keen to learn and develop yourself. applying out of the box thinking.</li> <li>You see strategic purchasing including sourcing as of the main support function securing business continuity and sustainable growth. </li> <li>You gain experience in leading and driving project in a cross-functional team setup. </li> <li>Sufficient business English and German. </li> <li>Applying your experience to form and built up the strategy for own are of responsibility is your main motivation drivers. </li> <li>Clear and transparent and trustworthy way of working. </li> <li>You are communicating clear and straight to the point. </li> <li>Building networks. </li> <li>You are experienced in common SAP transactions and standard processes in procurement.</li> <li>Willingness to travel approx. 25% mainly in EU</li> </ul>
