Job Description: Lead Graphic Artist

Location: Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), Panama City, FL

Security Clearance: SECRET level

Job Summary:

We require a skilled Facilities Engineering Technician to support our facilities management operations at NSWC PCD. The role involves CAD drafting, space planning, and asset management to ensure optimal utilization of facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conceive, plan, and produce visual materials, including concept renderings, technical illustrations, and graphics for various media.
• Work with traditional and digital media to convey technical concepts effectively.
• Use Adobe Creative Suite, Corel Painter, Microsoft Office, and other graphics software for design production.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure visuals meet project objectives and are presented appropriately for the intended audience.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent in Fine Arts or Commercial Arts.
• Minimum of 5 years of full-time work experience in graphic arts and technical illustration.
• Proven skills in creating a wide range of graphic designs and illustrations.
• Experience with both traditional (e.g., pen and ink, watercolors) and digital tools.
• Portfolio submission is required to demonstrate talent and skill in the field.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Navy or DoD-specific design and illustration needs.
• Experience with large-format printing and color management.
