THE JOB: 

The primary responsibility of the Executive Host is to help maintain the casino's customer base while streamlining processes to deliver exceptional customer service.  The Executive Host will exercise sound judgment in fulfilling casino customer requests.  All duties must be performed in accordance with MGM Resorts International marketing policies, practices, and procedures. 

You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Evaluate customers’ casino activity to offer appropriate incentives and may have the authority to approve minimum amounts for comps and allowances (e.g., room, food, beverage, event tickets, promo chips, free play, airfare, or discounts)
• Assist in maintaining and growing the property’s customer base by meeting and interacting with customers
• Ensure that customers from assigned regions are greeted during check-in and check-out, providing personalized service throughout their stay to ensure satisfaction
• Process customer reservations using VIPR/AUTOCAB, OPERA, and PATRON management systems
• If authorized, grant marker authorization limits to qualifying customers
• Attend special events as needed to promote marketing efforts and greet customers
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information by enforcing privacy policies and limiting requests for information in accordance with company guidelines
• Resolve customer disputes and complaints to the satisfaction of both the customer and the company
• Comply with all local laws and Title 31, and attend all mandatory compliance and training sessions
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Nevada State Gaming Registration
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
• One (1) year of experience in Casino Marketing, Hotel Operations, VIP Services and/or Table Games in a similar resort setting
• Exceptional customer service and savvy interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Demonstrates and maintains a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to MGM Resorts International Marketing standards
• Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment
• Shows flexibility in working a variety of shifts
• Able to travel domestically or internationally if necessary to meet existing customer base
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
