About the role

About the Role:   As a Solutions Architect Leader, you will play a pivotal role at Oracle Health, designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions on OCI for our customers. You’ll be the bridge between customer’s business needs and technical realities, transforming our customer’s technical stack with AI-powered solutions and OCI applications. You will build, lead, and guide a team of talented, motivated and high performing Solution Architects and will be responsible for their success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Architecture: Design comprehensive, end-to-end solutions on OCI that align with customer requirements. Ensure your designs prioritize scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate closely with customers, technical program managers, architects, and software development leaders to build solutions that meet customer objectives, technical needs, and constraints. Provide expert guidance on OCI’s capabilities and best practices to help our customers achieve their goals.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead the technical design and implementation of OCI solutions, providing direction and mentorship to the Solution Architecture teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • People Management: Build a team of solution architects, lead, mentor, and guide the team members, build a charter and north start vision, and successful set up an organization of Oracle Health Solution Architects.
  • Cloud Migration: Assess existing on-premises or cloud-based infrastructure and applications. Develop comprehensive migration strategies and execute plans to seamlessly transition them to OCI.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure solutions meet industry-standard security, regulatory, government, and compliance requirements. Implement robust security controls, encryption, and access management measures.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities to optimize solutions for performance, cost, and resource utilization. Leverage native OCI services and features to achieve optimal results.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement effective monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions on OCI to proactively identify and address performance issues and security threats.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a cloud architect or a similar role (8+ years).
  • Experience building and leading teams (5+ years).
  • Strong understanding of cloud design principles, including security, scalability, and performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams, and deliver large-scale, technically complex solutions.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and capabilities a plus.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $122,500 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
