Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Analyst/ Principal Manufacturing Analyst. This position will be located at our Aeronautics Sector in El Segundo, CA.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Production Engineering & Operations (PE&O) organization.

Roles and Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management,

systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and

interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations

  • The primary role of this position will be to track and communicate the progress of numerous Tool Design SOWs to Tooling Project Engineers as well as Tool Design Leadership. Within this, will include extensive use of excel,
  • SharePoint and Power Point. You will work closely with the Tool Designers to determine budget and schedule required to complete a project and finally record requirements changes that impact the project schedule and budget. An
  • understanding of basic CAM analysis and earned value will be necessary within the first year of employment.

This requisition may be filled at a Manufacturing Analyst/ Principal Manufacturing Analyst level based on the qualifications below.

Manufacturing Analyst Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelors Degree AND 2 years of financial planning and/or budget development and/or analysis and/or plant controller and/or cost analysis OR Master's Degree AND 0 years

  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

  • Experience using excel to perform function calculations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excel Visual Basic Application Knowledge

  • CAM certified

  • Confluence and Jira - able to work with and develop tools

  • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)

  • Active U.S. Government SECRET or TOP SECRET security clearance

Principal Manufacturing Analyst Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelors Degree AND 5 years of financial planning and/or budget development and/or analysis and/or plant controller and/or cost analysis OR Master's Degree AND 3 years of financial planning and/or budget development and/or analysis and/or plant controller and/or cost analysis OR a PhD Degree AND 1 year of financial planning and/or budget development and/or analysis and/or plant controller and/or cost analysis

  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

  • Experience using excel to perform function calculations
