Job Summary
Job Description SummarySolar Energy World, now a wholly owned Comcast company is seeking a Solar Installation Field Supervisor, with experience on residential solar sites. As a leader of our installation teams, our Install Supervisor will set the tone on the job and is expected to foster a positive work experience for all who work on the team. As a member of the management team, the Solar Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day workflow operations.
Job Description
5+ years of solar install experience leadership required
Core Responsibilities
- Meeting with crew leads prior to installation to review project blueprints, details, timelines, and expectations
- Overseeing safety and quality control
- Providing technical guidance and support to team members during installation, including answering questions pertaining to materials and tools
- Reviewing project photos in detail and scheduling remaining tasks left from projects
- Leading the solar panel installation team in executing projects according to specifications and safety standards
- Handling damage control for accidents occurred at install
- Conducting routine meetings to go over current policies, discuss current issues with install, and announce events and changes
- Making site visits during installation to meet with customers and check project progress
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and optimize installation processes
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
