SUMMARY

The Clinical Nurse Account Manager is responsible for the acquisition, execution, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of pharmaceutical manufacturer contracts for patient and health care provider services on behalf of pharmaceutical manufacturers and securing access to limited distribution drugs for the Omnicell Specialty Pharmacy Services (OSPS) pharmacies. The scope of duties includes but is not limited to strategy development for drug access and contracts, relationship management, contract compliance oversight, conducting manufacturer business reviews, and OSPS presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities also involve collaboration with the Pharmaceutical Contract pharmacy staff and pharmaceutical manufacturers to address and/or correct any issues or concerns regarding the manufacturer’s contracted services. The role requires effective communication (oral and written) to all stakeholders and the ability to develop and execute clinical and business strategies. An integral supportive role is required to provide exceptional service to OSPS’ internal and external clients.

  • Develop strategies to secure pharmaceutical manufacturer’s drug distribution, procurement, and service agreements for execution and implementation.
  • Engage and establish strategic alliances and collaborative partnerships with pharmaceutical manufacturers.
  • Understand and recognize specialty pharmacy opportunities for OSPS growth.
  • Assist with any operation required to develop and maintain process workflows or work instructions to meet the implementation and maintenance schedules for contracted patient or HCP service requirements.
  • Mitigate risk parameters for successful implementation and performance maintenance of contracted services for maximizing fee attainment.
  • Effectively communicate and document interventions of service contracts for internal and external clients.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for executed pharmaceutical agreements and provide clinical training resources to OSPS staff members as needed.
  • Conduct a quarterly audit, with analyzed results for adjustments or escalation, of required contracted provided service records.
  • Manage or conduct all pharmaceutical manufacturer required training as needed or assigned.
  • Maintain coordination, communication, and collaboration by partnering with OSPS interdepartmental team members for corporate goal attainment.
  • Analyze internal reports to determine the delivery of contracted services and compliance performance reviews.
  • Support the QA team with Adverse Events Reporting.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or Registered Pharmacist with a current license in good standing. (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy; Pharm D. (Required)
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience or case management in auto-immune, transplant, or other specialty diseases. (Required)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in consultative selling in the life science or pharmaceutical industry. (Required)
