We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold tilt-rotor.
This position is onsite in Fort Worth, TX.
Human Resources - Labor Relations Specialist
Bring your experience and ideas to accurately and efficiently manage administrative actions related to the internal movement of union-covered employees. You’ll partner closely with union leadership, human resources, and management to provide guidance on the interpretation and intent of the collective bargaining agreements, resolve placement concerns, and train teams on movement processes.
What You’ll be doing as a Labor Relations Specialist
Communicate how union movement works according to each collective bargaining agreement.
Provide guidance to human resources, management, employees, and union by interpreting the meaning and intent of the collective bargaining agreement, rules and policies related to the movement of union-covered employees.
Work closely with union leadership, management and Employee Relations Partners (ERPs) to understand, explain, and resolve placement issues, such as complaints, seniority and pay verifications, questions, and errors.
Utilize software to process monthly bumps, requisitions, manage recalled employees and lists, upgrade bid postings, and process other placement events, such as surpluses.
Proactively review output/results from software to ensure accuracy and completeness. Identify and correct errors prior to sharing output/results with stakeholders. Document and report system inaccuracies to manager to ensure long-term fix.
Audit and maintain accurate information on written and electronic documentation and placement records to ensure compliance with contract language and company practices.
Prepare separation packets, lead employee separation meetings, and develop and distribute materials for those meetings, in the event of a layoff of unionized employees.
Verify employee job performance documentation at 30, 60, and 90 days and process associated pay changes.
Maintain a calendar of all movement-related events in MS Outlook.
Submit union employee changes, such as changes in shift, department, plant, pay, and seniority to the HR Service Center.
Train supervisors, front-line leaders, and ERPs on the union movement process.
Participate in developing a dashboard report on employee and labor relations metrics.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Strong analytical skills for fact-checking and validating all movements and communications are correct prior implementation.
Ability to identify and resolve placement issues, including researching complaints, verifying seniority and pay, and responding to questions.
Adaptable to systems and software, with troubleshooting and problem-solving expertise.
