Description
The Saas Operations Administrator in the IT Services department leads the operations of applications at Verily. This role will focus on improving application services for the business, along with assisting the implementation of new applications to help grow the business, strategically increasing SaaS application use and growth. New feature requests are handled both in this department and by partnering with IT Engineering. This is an exciting opportunity to understand and implement the needs across a wide portfolio of applications and departments.
Responsibilities
- Work with the SaaS Manager along with IT Engineering and IT Business Relationship Managers to implement new applications and features. Work with Business and IT Leaders to create, maintain and update strategy for SaaS application use.
- Create actionable detailed plans on support levels for applications while maintaining operational and support guides for the various applications.
- Work with the IT Support organization to delineate support responsibilities between IT Support Services and IT Services.
- Ensure that SaaS configurations abide by company policies, including security policies, data privacy policies, and user access policies.
- Maintenance of SaaS Application environments: permission configurations, troubleshooting, performing back ups, monitoring usage, and auditing activities. Analyze existing SaaS application environments and suggest improvements or new functionalities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience with administering and supporting a wide variety of applications such as Google Workspace, Okta, Atlassian Suite, and Slack.
- Experience with automations and integrations between applications. Integrating SSO/SAML with applications.
- Working with 3rd parties on building and deploying applications.
- Experience with scaling SaaS first environments & Application Migrations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to adapt to the changing application landscape as the business adds and removes applications.
- Understanding basic security principles such as data protection and information security.
- Understanding of Project Management principles and Governance, Risk Management and Compliance requirements.
- Documenting the business’ needs and working with the various IT departments on timely project delivery.
- Create detailed documentation, such as runbooks, for the support team to use for regular support and incident management.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $104,000-$160,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
