The Senior Analyst role is a vital member of the Corporate Finance organization that provides direct financial oversight and decision support for Texas Capital Bank Finance Organization. The key focus of this member will be in the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial forecasting processes. This role has a strong analytical focus and will require a self-motivated, action-oriented thinker who can build relationships across departmental lines while driving projects to completion.
Responsibilities
Be a leading member of the Corporate Finance team and play a key role in executing our financial forecasting processes focused on the Texas Capital Bank’s balance sheet and income statement.
Manage within deadlines from a variety of business partners including Enterprise Finance, Accounting, Investor Relations and Corporate Treasury to understand key business trends, strategies and identify opportunities to improve financial performance.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts including variance analysis and management reporting. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Support administration of the budget and forecast process through coordination of transfers, systems and scenario changes.
Prepare and present ad-hoc financial analyses, business reviews and reports as needed to support decision-making.
Requirements
An undergraduate degree in business or related field.
4+ years supporting a finance department, FP&A or Corporate Finance.
Ability to perform ad hoc financial reporting, presentation development and financial analysis.
Strong analytical mindset, focused on results with critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to and manage competing priorities on concurrent large, complex projects, initiatives, and deliverables.
Strong knowledge in financial reporting tools and software.
Strong formal business writing and documentation skills.
Strong technical proficiency in the use of MS Office products for reporting, data, analytics, and presentations.
Preferred
Deep knowledge of banking products, financial statements, and accounting principles. Related financial/business analysis and planning experience in commercial banking or the financial services industry.
Experience working with Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)
