Your purpose 

As a Senior General Manager (SGM) at YouFit Gyms, you take on a dual role—overseeing multiple gym locations while actively serving as the General Manager of your home gym. You are responsible for driving operational success, financial performance, and an exceptional member experience across all gyms under your supervision.

Your leadership is crucial in coaching and developing gym management teams, ensuring company standards are met in membership growth, customer experience, gym operations, and financial performance. By leading your home gym and mentoring other locations, you foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee and manage your home gym, ensuring smooth daily operations, financial success, and an exceptional member experience while also overseeing multiple assigned gyms
• Lead, mentor, and develop gym management teams, ensuring leadership growth and execution of company standards in sales, service, and operations
• Ensure strong leadership teams by identifying, developing, and retaining high-potential gym management candidates
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics across all assigned gyms, providing strategic direction to drive membership growth, retention, and financial success
• Maintain accountability across all gyms by conducting regular audits, coaching sessions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and operational standards
• Oversee financial performance by managing budgets, labor costs, revenue-driving strategies, and cost control across all assigned gyms
• Ensure gym teams execute membership sales, service initiatives, and retention strategies effectively to maximize revenue and enhance member experience
• Oversee facility maintenance, cleanliness, and equipment upkeep, ensuring gyms meet YouFit’s operational standards
• Collaborate with corporate leadership and communicate regional needs while implementing company-wide initiatives effectively at the gym level
• Act as the final escalation point for major gym, member, and facility issues, ensuring timely and professional resolution

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proficient in reading, speaking, and writing in English. Fluency in multiple languages is favored.
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday, with flexibility for business needs.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a General Manager or multi-unit leader in a fitness, hospitality, or sales-driven environment.
• Proven leadership ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing gym management teams.
• Strong financial acumen, including experience in managing budgets, labor costs, and revenue growth strategies.
• Experience overseeing multiple gym locations, ensuring consistency in operations, service execution, and financial performance.
• Ability to implement corporate initiatives at the gym level, ensuring alignment with company-wide strategies and business objectives.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive continuous improvement and resolve escalated challenges efficiently.

Physical Demands

• This is an active role requiring frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
