Your Impact:
The Project Manager, Data Center Services Business Division, is responsible for the continuous improvement and pricing of operations and maintenance services for Pearce Renewables. The candidate will have strong interaction with external customers and internal stakeholders such as Sales, Business Operations, Field Operations, Procurement to drive growth and optimization of our data center services, while also suggesting/leveraging other products and services to the U.S. market.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversees the development of proposals, bids, quotations, or other documents describing products and services in response to requests from customers.
- Identifies and onboards new vendors to strengthen Pearce offerings.
- Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects and maximizes business opportunities.
- Develops and establishes a repository of templates, standard language, product collateral, exhibits, and other data resources to create high-quality and accurate responses.
- Partners with Procurement leaders to meet with suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, negotiate pricing, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.
- Manages changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.
Core Experience
- 5+ years of related project management experience in the data center or telecommunications industry.
- Knowledge and understanding of Data Center Electrical Infrastructure including generators, UPS, power switching, etc.
- Knowledge and understanding of Data Center Network Infrastructure including carrier landing stations, fiber/copper cabling, patch panels, DWDM optical equipment, etc.
- Knowledgeable in areas of contract documents, project estimates, construction, and maintenance specifications.
- Excellent communication and networking skills. Analytic, accurate, and focused style of work. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (esp. Excel) is required.
- Self-motivated person who can operate independently and can play well in a high-growth environment.
- Ability to travel within North America as required.
