We’re constantly developing new security systems, analyzing current systems for vulnerabilities, and handling cyber-attacks in an efficient and effective manner worldwide. 

As a Senior Advisor, Cyber will be a member of the Global Cybersecurity department reporting to the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team and is responsible for the identification, measurement, and reporting of critical security metrics.  

Job Description

NIQ Cybersecurity is looking for a Senior Advisor, Cyber Governance, Risk and Compliance to join our team and support our Director of Cyber GRC in delivering key projects, reports, strategies, and governance frameworks.

As a Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining cyber policies, standards and procedures that align with best practices and regulatory requirements. You will also ensure that these documents are updated regularly and communicated effectively to the relevant stakeholders.
• Conducting cyber risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate cyber risks and gaps. You will also monitor and report on the implementation of cyber risk mitigation plans and actions.
• Preparing and presenting cyber reports and dashboards to senior management and stakeholders. You will also provide insights and recommendations on cyber trends, issues, and opportunities.
• Providing guidance and advice on cyber issues and incidents to business units and functions. You will also coordinate with the incident response team and other parties to ensure timely and effective resolution of cyber incidents.
• Collaborating with internal and external partners to enhance cyber awareness, culture and capabilities. You will also participate in cyber forums, events and initiatives to share best practices and learn from others.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A bachelor’s degree in business, cybersecurity or technology or equivalent. A Master's degree or a professional certification in cybersecurity or related fields is an advantage.
• At least 8 years of experience in cybersecurity and/or technology, preferably in a governance, risk and compliance role. You should have demonstrated experience in developing and implementing cyber policies, standards, procedures, risk assessments, audits, reports and dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of cyber frameworks, standards and regulations such as NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS, GDPR etc. You should also have a good understanding of the current cyber threats, vulnerabilities and solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. You should be able to communicate clearly and persuasively with different audiences and levels of seniority. You should also be able to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. You should also be proactive, adaptable, and resilient.
