Description

We are open to considering candidates in South San Francisco, CA, Boston, MA, Raleigh, NC, or Dallas, TX for this role.

The Research and Site Operations Team is a centralized operational and program management function. Think of us as the connective glue across the functional area experts that takes a study from concept → protocol →platform requirements/configuration→ live → closed for internal and external partners. Utilizing participant and site insights, as well as the Verily Viewpoint solutions, the Engagement Manager is responsible to work with Verily cross functional teams to develop scalable, and customized end-to-end participant experiences resulting in study and registry adherence, engagement, and satisfaction across our portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the on-going development of a playbook for scalable participant engagement processes across multiple functional groups e.g. marketing, product, user experience, and clinical operations.
  • Coordinate between marketing, clients, vendors, procurement and various other teams to craft program specific engagement plans. 
  • Support the design, implementation, and operational processes and templates to streamline and enhance engagement efforts, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.
  • Establish operating metrics and KPIs for tactic effectiveness and strategy success in collaboration with product and analytics teams.
  • Maintain and communicate program strategies, budgets, timelines and lead cross-functional and external planning and execution meetings. Actively maintain knowledge of current engagement industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in biology, medical science or marketing (or relevant work experience in lieu of degree).
  • Experience working in a start-up tech environment.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing patient engagement and retention programs with ability to scale teams and operations.
  •  Experience in developing and implementing solutions to complex problems including challenging engagement and retention programs in clinical studies and registries.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a client services, client relationship management or account executive related field in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, and ability to handle ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to establish and lead solid relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with sensitivity to changing personalities and priorities.
  • Experience working in clinical trial patient engagement & retention and/or study operations.
  • Ability to improvise, work efficiently and respond quickly to changes and a dynamic work-flow.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,000 - $191,000 + equity + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
